Abstract Prints : “Harmony” Series
At the NAS studio practice, I explored various styles and techniques. Also I explored Japan’s native aesthetic culture, with particular reference to Shinto religion and, calligraphy (my first educational subject). These traditions influence my critical perspective with their placement of ‘nature’ at the centre of philosophical discourse. I also seek to continue my ongoing interest in the representation of the ‘universal’ in two dimension forms.
This series of small etchings are created by the process of this experiment.
